Tim’s Racing Photos named the Official Track Photographers of Lincoln Speedway IL for the 2012 racing season.

Last night Tim’s Racing Photos and Lincoln Speedway reached an agreement to become the official track photographers for the track during the 2012 racing season. Tim’s Racing Photos moved here from New Jersey just under 2 yrs ago where they were the official photographers of the URC Sprint Car Series. They quickly jumped into the Illinois racing scene and were the official photographers of the Jacksonville Speedway last year.

With the uncertaintly of Jacksonville for the 2012 racing season and the closing of Shepp’s Speedway Tim and Karen Moran inquired about the Lincoln Speedway located just up the road from Springfield IL. Tim’s Racing Photos visited there are few times and they have a first class organization and facility. “We are just happy to be a part of Lincoln and very excited for the upcoming season. With Jacksonville running a very limited schedule and Shepp’s Closing we were seaching for a Friday night track to become part of. This is a perfect situation for us and I can’t wait to get the season started!” remarked Tim.

The season kicks off with two practice sessions on April 1, and 7 before opening night on Friday April 13th. The MOWA Sprints visit numerous times this year along with a special NASCAR night and visit from the famous DIRT Hell Tour.
