After retiring from karting, Tim started to really get into racing photography. Getting down in the infield and capturing the essence of the driver is what Tim’s photos are all about.
In the summer of 2005, Tim and Karen were introduced through mutual racing friends. In 2006, Tim and Karen launched the Tim’s Racing Photos website and started planning their intense schedule of race travel to get their name out to as many race teams as possible. That summer Karen hooked up with Area Auto Racing News, working race day driver and fan promotions. On Friday, September 15, 2006 before leaving for a racing weekend at Williams Grove and Hesston Speedways, Tim popped the question, and Karen enthusiastically agreed. By the end of the season, the two had been to over 50 races at 26 different tracks throughout the northeast and Canada.
